My first posted poem~
"Without Your Love, I am No One"-Danica P.
Sitting alone in a cold, damp cellar
Where only spiders and insects thrive
Yet here I am, alone
Hurting inside, barely alive
Without your light
I am in ruins
Standing amidst a bustling crowd
No one can hear my cry for help
I'm losing my grip
Falling, sinking into Hell
Without your presence
I am a shadow
Lying down on a park bench
Watching young girls and boys play
While I'm weeping tears of internal chaos
The whispering wind blowing hair across my face
Without your voice
I am a ghost
Wandering in the town cemetery
Sharp dagger under my white dress
Beside your grave, I plunge the dagger through my breast
Lying, bleeding, I whisper with my last breath
"Without your love, darling
I am no one."
