On Hibernation For the next day or two I'm gonna be in hibernation mode from the regular tasks of bug fixing and writing features. I have some pending issues that I need to address immediately: - Finish design documents for Gaia Mobile - Fix Monster Galaxy for Facebook (and upgrade our PHP platform while we're at it) Will get right back to fixing issues when I'm awake. Meanwhile, Strider is healing nicely, he's nice and calm thanks to his dose of pain killers. In trying to fix Strider's image being too big, I ended up adding a image resizing option for the image bbcode. Hope that's useful for others too [3:30AM] Apparently our code repository broke. The fix for BBCODE in journals will be uploaded at around 11AM. new BBCODE such as the video links and the new smilies also works in journals now. [6:50AM] I think I'm 2/3 of the way through in fixing the Facebook API. Hope to have it done by tonight. Nap time!

Lanzer, Strider's picture is massive. It's cutting off words and the link to other journal entries. I had to block the image to be able to post this. Edit it or put a link to click to the picture! Also, another issue to add to your list is that journal entries can't scroll.

Edit: Wow, that was quick. lol Thanks for the fix! Not sure the emotes are working, though. sweatdrop

Great job! Resizing is all I've ever wished for.

Though now all the images using regular img code are broken in my journal with code turned into img:f15a1ac36a.

While you're at it, can you make video code work on journals too in near future?

Aww, poor Strider with his bare leg and furry little foot, it's like he's wearing a sock and it looks like he's saying "Don't you go posting this online to embarrass me!" xp

I hope he's getting thoroughly spoiled and recovering well.

The image resizing will be useful and it's nice to see journals being brought up to date a bit. Thank you.

Hey, Lanzer.
I'm sorry to disturb you, but do you have any prediction of when (And if you guys will be bringing zOMG back? 6 months? More? Less?

Also, it's great to see you back, people, Gaia just wasn't the same without you all. I was one of the first active players (Though I lost my old account long ago) and I will be forever gratefull for the wonderful memories I have built with Gaia. Thanks, honestly.

Ah, I was wondering what change was being worked on that would have caused that BBCode display bug. I'll have to play around with it, but image resizing sounds like it could come in handy for my AskED archives! Every so often someone posts an image in an AtA thread that's so big I have to convert it to a URL link when archiving...it could be nice not to have to do that anymore. Super hyped about the mention in your Staff Update posts about an update to Guild BBCode! heart
