So the Gaia Tools v3 release of the site did not go off without a hitch. In fact, it was the exact opposite! After release I spent many hours debugging and patching critical bugs that popped up during the spring to the finish line.
When the site was released, I spent a couple of hours getting the important stuff fixed. After that, I was up until the wee hours of the morning fixing small things that popped up here and there. However, since then most of the issues have been smoothed out! Now nothing prevents the site from actually functioning as one would expect. It's running pretty smoothly and we're happy with the success we've had with the design.
Themes, that's a fun one. With this update came many new features to things, in particular ratings and reviews, and theme installs. Over the past week since the site was updated we've seen hundreds of theme installs. One in particular more than others, but all around many themes have been installed several times.
We're happy to now have a count of theme usage and we think this will help encourage theme authors who publish to Gaia Tools to know what what gets more attention so that they can curate similar themes.
After a week of the site being out, it's absolutely beautiful and amazing to see how well it's doing. We have many more plans of services we want to add. Gaia Tools isn't done growing yet, and now we can do that in an easier way.
