I wanna participate!
1. Sugar and Spice - This is my favorite movie. It's got satire, female friendship, a great soundtrack and hardly anyone else likes it.
2. Saved! - I'm an atheist so I get a kick out of this one.
3. How to Deal - I like teen movies, and this one involved death and first love which really stuck with me. Also, Mandy Moore. 💙
4. Celeste and Jesse Forever - I'm married and the issues we had in our marriage at one point terrified me that this was the type of situation we'd end up in.
5. Cabin Boy - I like absurd humor and the visuals are probably my favorites of any movie.
6. American Pie - I love raunchy sex humor, but I also appreciate love and friendship. This movie has all the emotions in it.
7. Even Cowgirls Get the Blues - My brain tends to wander and I wish I could travel more. This is a road movie thats a bit more artsy, but still oddly funny.
8. Like Water For Chocolate - This is based on a magical realism novel. It's about longing, food and Mexican culture which i have an appreciation for.
9. Welcome to the Dollhouse - I was weird and awkward as a kid and life felt like hell particularly in middle school.
10. James and the Giant Peach - This is a childhood favorite with beautiful animation and music. It always makes me feel hopeful about what life can bring, even if you have sad or unpleasant experiences.
