I hate the way people look at dating and relationships these days. I am clearly in the wrong time period. I belong in a place where men actually value women for more than their sex. I've been told that I must "give it all away" to hook a guy.

Not bloody likely.

I'll give as much as I see fit in order to keep someone around. My personality should be one of the main factors that a guy would wish to stay with me. Not for how well I can do something, if at all. Most men are all out for a good roll in ze hay these days, and there are plenty of women willing to roll with them.

The degradation of women's values with sex and relationships is partly to blame. It takes two to tango. D:

I know I will find someone who will value me for my worth as a person, rather than my bedroom skills. Its just going to take a lot of failed attempts to get there. I'm working on my first failure right now. I've got to get used to be close to a guy somehow, and I guess this guy is the right one for it. I think its gonna be a friends with benefits thing, as much as it tears me up inside.

I'll get the good one. Its just gonna take a long time.
