I wrote this poem.
"Far Beyond Forever"
An angel has fallen from Heaven
Fallen on a chance at love, Her wing
Broken so lonely and sad. She has fallen because the one she cared for has forsaken her for another.
The gentle angel sits lonely and sad wondering what
She has done wrong. Why has her beloved forsaken her?
She thinks to herself, I am stronger than this.
Forget him...If he left me he does not love me.
He will only cause me pain.
The gentle angel looks to the heavens
"How will I get back? My wing is broken."
From out of the mists comes a soft gentle voice.
"Do you need help M'Lady?" The angel looked up from her thoughts.. "Yes...Thank you.” It was a Prince. Who was this handsome Prince So gentle, so kind, so loving?
"My wing is broken", he looked at me with a smile and bandaged my wing. "Thank you M'Lord."
"So if I may ask you M'Lady...My Angel why have you fallen?"
"M'Lord, I have fallen from heaven because I took a chance at love and the one I loved... Forsook me for another."
"Why would a Man forsake such a beauty as you?"
"Those are kind words M'Lord but I am no beauty."
"M'Lady if I may say, your beauty makes the moon dim in the glow of your grace."
The angel smiled, This Prince had sweet, kind words. He spoke again.
"I have been forsaken too." How could such a gentle prince be tortured so? "Why M'Lord would someone treat you so?... You seem so kind, so loving."
The angle looked at him and knew there was something different about him.
The angel caressed the prince's face. She smiled softly
"I think M'Lord that this Lady did not know what a rare gem she had."
The Prince smiled. "...And I do not think that man know what a goddess he had." She Blushed.
"It's funny, I have fallen from heaven, and yet I feel as if I have found it in you." He smiled back and said: “I also feel the same, infact until the moment I saw you, this beautiful angel sitting lonely and sad. I was going to give up my throne because I thought I would never love again...but you are different. I could love you far beyond forever."
She smiled wider and the moon came out from behind the mist, she stood and took his hand and they started walking off together.. hand in hand.
"So could I My Prince...So could I."
