So I checked out the break dance studio, and I had a great time, except that was the first time I sorta worked-out since school, so needless to say I hurt in so many new exciting ways, its unreal. But yeah, definitely gonna check it out again next week.
It was the 4th of July, and being in Japan, that's kinda lame for me, so my American friends and I came up with a great plan. First, we hopped on a bus to a remote location with a bridge and a river. Second, we light fireworks that we bought at a convenience store. Third, we get tanked with Asahi beer. Fourth, screw Britain, we will dump green tea into the river to celebrate the Boston Tea Party.
Well everything was going really well (I have the burnt finger to prove it), and then some Japanese guy saw us and went "oh!" and ran into his house. Great, I thought he was gonna call the cops. Next thing I know, he runs back out with all of his kids, and then THEY start lighting fireworks. Soon, half the neighborhood is out shooting rockets and whatnot into the air.
So it went well, I didn't start the great Kanazawa Fire 2006, AND I created a make-shift America no Dokuritsu Matsuri!
Tonight I leave for Osaka, Hiroshima, Kyoto, and Nara for 4 days, so I wont be able to write in here for a bit, but I'll see ya soon.
