I'm not quite sure how his first name is supposed to be pronounced, either. Just don't think about it.
Anyway, another book that was finished way back, and I only just got to writing about. .. March, to be exact sweatdrop ... but no more exact than that. Poul Anderson is another great author, and you have to be to pull off time travel in a realistic fashion. The book is a collection of his short stories about the time patrol, a group that fixes, studies, and prevents general meddling-with of the timeline. The description is really good, and if you have any interest in historical fiction from any time period, than this should satisfy you. You even get alternate timelines thrown in for good measure from timeline-meddling. What maore could you want- it's got history, non-history, and explanations as to why time hasn't been completely screwed up. He even gave them a whole made-up language to deal with wierd time-travel tenses. I would have liked to see it, but I still think it was good that he came up with it.
At any rate, I should be able to finish off the next book relatively quickly. Let's hope it doesn't take me as long to get to the writing about it part, though. xd
And if anyone is actually bothering to read all this, go read something interesting and report back on it! I need some feedback here or something!
