Llast evening, a friend and I had decided to make a topic in the Chatterbox, just to study these so called "n00bs". We wore nothing to try and fit in with them as much as possible. I had discovered the lives of these novices are very difficult. The people we know and tend to hate called "Flamers" are now hunting them down in the Chatterbox. Just when I thought they had left GD, they have spread. Now perhaps I am feeling soft hearted at this moment, or the "n00bism" has started to affect, but I feel someone needs to stand up for these novices and, as politely as possible, guide them along the way to a new start. A start that is not being annoying and bothering people for gold.
The people I had met in the thread my fellow and I made were very interesting. These creatures crave for attention, some for affection they cannot get in real life. Now I may be wrong with these discoveries (for others could have been faking their n00bism), though it's normally very easy to spot.
The point of my study is to find out what makes the person tick. Why they pratice "n00bism" and how they can stand it. the link to the horrifying thread my partner made is here. Do not be alarmed by the frightfulness of it all, we do not normally act this way. Though I fear that if this study takes to long, I will have caught the horrible curse of "n00bism".
That is all I have for this evening. those of you who read this may be afraid, but I can only wish this curse of "n00bism" does not affect you out there.
Day Two Study of "n00bism"
Any disply of affection by someone under the practice of "n00bism" leads to a lonely dark corner. Here where someone tries to type a poem to perhaps show affection or attract a mate gets turned down. Will he try again? will never know. Perhaps we are overthinking the annouance of "n00bism" perhaps those we call "n00bs" really aren't. One day the answers will come until then.
Another way of looking for attention/mate are the threads of desperate people. To be studied more later.
My partner's mule had gone under cover, to test out the blindness of the animals in the chatterbox.Here she was bat about and beaten to the ground by "n00b" hunters. Though few; such as my mule, had commented on her so called lovely appearance. One person I have test subject I have taken a notice in had realized she was a fake. We have now learned that some of the creatures of the chatterbox check the background of the character.
