| My Thoughts on Steve Irwin's Death... |

First, too all Steve Irwin haters who think Steve deserved this because he's always hanging with dangerous animals...

Steve Irwin was not, in any way, trying to provoke animals or be some kind of super stunt man. ._.; He was EDUCATING everyone about these animals, their behavior, and the good things about these dangerous animals that get pushed aside behind all these bad little things.

    K? No Steve Irwin bashing.

Here's my view on the famous Australian...

He worked so hard to promote conservation and all that... man, he was, like, my IDOL. ;.; When I first heard the news, I was all, "DUDE, Steve Irwin can't be dead!" I always thought of him as actually invincible. Never occured to me that a guy like him could die. A great loss for all of us. I feel really sorry for his family, too... he was quite the devoted dad and wife, even with his fame.

He's really a good guy. My favorite celebrity, in fact. Screw all the skinny models, screw all the musical wannabe emos, and screw movie stars. Steve Irwin actually DID something for the world. How can people actually bring themselves to HATE him? And the fact that people are mocking his death here on the internet just makes me sick.

He was passionate about what he did, and did a massive amount for conservation, and has inspired me to walk in his footsteps, doing whatever I can for the world, and for the animals that live in it, no matter how dangerous they are.

I'm hoping that people will become more enthusiastic about conservation and wildlife studies. Really, I, and probably a bunch of other people, have been heavily influenced by Steve.

Those are exactly my thoughts, Ripper. Stop peeking into my brain! X3

But yeah... He wasn't exactly my idol, so to speak, but I really enjoyed watching his show when I was able to.

The very fact that he died doing what he loved just shows he had a very good life. smile It's hard to think of him as deceased, when he made an impact on anyone with cable. And maybe a few people without cable. razz
