Lavender & Pepper (STORY!!)
A dark alleyway where rainwater has soaked the ground. Water creeps through the cracks of the streets. The soft sound of boots falling against the cold stone of the streets. Cool air moves lightly around the unknown stranger that walks through the night. Long ebony black hair tied back with a single red ribbon. The stranger’s movement was graceful and quiet, never out of rhythm. A deep red trench coat covers the tall slender body of the stranger. The coat’s back grazes the cold stone road.
The stranger moves out of the wet alley and walks into the colder, damper streets. Lamp line the street, barely piercing the darkness. Buildings cast tall shadows down through the lamp’s light. The figure’s dark tall shadow drifts through the night’s darkness.
A woman leaves a friend’s home. She wears a long navy blue dress with soft white lacey that lines around the cuffs and the hem of her dress. The dress lightly touches the steps of the home as she walks down them. The woman walks up the street towards the little book shop. Her long rich brown hair lies in loose curls against her somewhat bare back, bouncing a bit as she walks. The woman walks into the shop then, the soft light lights her mild face. Her cheeks were lightly pink from the chill outside. Lush light red lips smile to the store clerk. She wanders the shelves of novels…watched by icy blue eyes of the man, the stranger.
The smell of paper, dust, and the rain outside fill the small shop. The woman wore a perfume of lavender. The man had the faint sent of pepper. The woman picks up a novel that was of the romance interest. She smiles to the page she reads the shuts the book as she walks to the clerk. A few gold coins are given to the clerk before she walks back into the cool night. Her dress lightly glides over the stone of the street. The man too had left and walked out of the book shop, following the woman.
She turns down an alley to take the back way into her home. The man stalks up behind her and places a cold hand on her bare shoulder. The woman jumps in a great amount of alarm. Her eyes look stunned at his beautiful soft face, his pools of blue, and the strands of midnight black hair in his face.
A grin plays on the man’s lips as the woman carefully backs up. Her back finds itself against a cold stone wall. Her skin prickles with fear, goose bumps riddle her peachy flesh. The man of ebony hair only grins on; he could feel her fear pulsing through her veins. His pale, cool hand rises to her face and touches her cheek. The woman winces to his icy touch and tries to find away to run a way from this unknown man.
She moves to his left but finds herself within his cold grasp. The woman struggles against his hands that lay on her shoulders. He only grips tighter and laughs. The laugh was like cold silk moving across the warm skin, but it held pin pricks of pain. The woman struggles harder. Soon the man’s velvet top hat finds its way to the stone ground. Locks of ebony black falls in his face as the woman fought against him. Her eyes filled with tears show the fear and pain within.
The man lets a grin of dark evil and also of a twisted mind dance on his lips. On that smile, brilliant white fangs press against his bottom lip. The moment the woman’s wide, fearful green eyes spot the fangs, she lets out a scream of pure terror from her throat.
Laughter echoes like the woman’s scream. The man lets her go then watches her run into the park. He walks after her calmly…laughing. The woman hides in a grove of old trees, begging to not be found by the beautiful yet twisted man. A slight wind blows through the air. The soft sent of pepper floats about. The man’s trench coat blows out behind him, making his black suit, and the red lining of his coat exposed. His movement was still graceful and never out of rhythm.
The woman presses against a tree breathing heavy with fear. Her face now stained with tears. For only one moment of time she shuts her eyes and then opens them. A smile was on the man’s lips as he stood in front of her. Her eyes widen, breath becomes faster, and heart beat quickens. A scream flows out of her throat again. The man takes hold of her and laughs madly. Brilliant white fangs show on his blood red lip.
An elderly couple sitting near a window, watching the park; The older man looks to the two in the park; he lets a chuckle play on his tongue. Gentle eyes look to his wife and he smiles as she does to him as their minds share the thoughts of happiness for the “happy” couple below, within the park.
The man laughs more as the woman struggles hard in his gripping hands. Her body presses against the bark of the tree more and more; Pools of blue gaze into eyes of fear and pain.
One last smile of a twisted mind plays on the man’s lips. His grips tightens on the woman, her head presses on the tree. Her bare, pale neck shows to the man. A rush of lust for what pulses through the veins of the throat bore to his greedy eyes; Terror, fear, and pain surges through her body like her blood.
The man slowly leans down towards the exposed flesh. One light icy kiss is place on her neck then he bites into her tender skin. She screams out the moment the sharp sting of the cold from the kiss touches the skin. Her small struggles let loose locks of rich chocolate brown fall into her frightened face.
The strange man removes his fangs from the bite and let the blood pool into his mouth, and down his throat. Soon his cold flesh was warm, more human toned then the dead pale. Pure ecstasy runs through his body as he feed off the woman’s sweet blood. Tears soak the face of the fair woman’s face as she began to feel the life slipping away. Her nails dig deep into the warm flesh of the man. His lips kiss the bite mark then pulls away. The woman lets out one last breath as her green eyes shut. Life fades away.
The man smiles then wipes a way few drops of blood from her neck and also from his lips. He kisses her lips once before carrying her to a park bench. He lays her in a position of sleep and comfort. A few brown strands of hair lay in her tender face. Then the man takes something out of an inner pocket from his trench coat. A single deep red rose in placed in her soft hand. The man looks at her a few moments then turns away. The stranger, the figure, the man, the vampyre walks away from the woman of lavender, leaving her with his “kiss”, his peppery sent, and one red rose. The man strolls off into the night, whistling to himself as the darkness takes in his tall slender figure.
