this is a poem a write.
I fill in the blanks
Of my missing memories
But nothing helps
The things I forget
The way things were meant to be
My out look on life
Is no longer carefree
Between
Water and fire
Earth and air
There is nothing there
When opposites turn
Onto one another
It’s no longer hard to see
That the walls have fallen
And my world is no longer
The world it use to be
It no longer belongs to me
To my soul and spirit
To my hopes and dreams
To my wants and needs
To my arts and writings
To me
My world is longer a part of me
And things just aren’t the way they use to be
The way they were meant to be
The way I saw
Is not the way I see?
The way I felt
Is not the way I feel?
The way I needed
Is not the way I need?
The way I lived
Is not the way I live?
