Hi freinds!
Just thught I would finally get this Jouranl started since everyone else has one that I read (or try to anyhow). I do have a lot to say, but most times, lately, it isn't all fun and games and I know a lot of you really try to keep real life stuff out of your Gaia experince. Sorry, but I just can't do that.
I love being here at Gaia, but my real life plays a very big part in what I say and do...even here at Gaia.
I am going through cancer (cervical recurrence) again for the second time in 8 years. This time though, I have to go through Chemotherapy every 21 days and let me tell ya, it's no picnic in any way, shape or form.
I'm not saying this for anyone to feel sorry for me, as this is my personal; problem and fight...it's just nice to know that I have friends here that support me in this and really do give a care. I thank each and everyone of you for this...you have really been there for me through it all.
Sometimes I don't get to post in the Forums or my Guilds as often as I would like to, but I do try when I am feeling well enough to do so...I hope you all understand. And please, when you don't hear from me for a long while, don't ever think that I am ignoring you...k? I just don't feel so great all of the time, but I'm lingering around here somewhere! lol
Something else I wanted to bring up....remember when everyone showed support for VO and his dad when he had cancer and was so sick by carrying the Yellow Daffodils? I thought maybe we could get back into that again...not for me, but for the Gaians who have illnesses and other sorts of bad things happening in their personal lives...just to let them know we care!! I have plenty of flowers for anyone that would need some...just let me know in PM. smile
