Ok, beforehand, I would like to say that we could get no pictures of the Nintendo Wii because the guards would not allow photography of it. Another note is that the pictures will be up next entry. The exact date they will be up is not known yet.

Ok... Moving on...

Yesterday, September the 19th, 2006, at approximately 6:30 AM, my alarm clock went off. Being the lazy a** I am, I hit the snooze button, wondering why the hell my alarm is set to 6:30 when it is normally set to 7:00. It wasn't until 10 minutes later that I realized, "THE NINTENDO FUSION TOUR IS TODAY!" Of course it was no matter, because I had packed the stuff I needed for the trip the night before, so I had plenty of time to get ready. At approximately 7:10 AM, I was ready to go! I grabbed my keys and wallet, and started my car, ready to drive up to Josh's house. It was a nice, cool morning, by the way, it was 40 degrees! I was surprised because it was never that cold in the mornings, so that made me happy. Ok, I took off, reaching Josh's house about 25 minutes later. I unpacked my trunk and was greeted by Josh and Marcos. It was about 5 to 10 minues later that Alex showed up. As soon as he got here, we packed Josh's mom's trunk. Josh sat in front, and Marcos, Alex and I sat in the back, me being in the middle because I was smallest.
It was really uncomfortable. Then we got to switch places at the first stop! I don't remember where everyone sat that time, but that's not really important... sweatdrop

Eventually we passed through a city where a college friend of Josh's lives. We went to the college apartments to meet here... actually, we got there about 10 minutes before her because she had a class. When she got here we went into her apartment and played DDR for a few minutes, but we couldn't stay long, we still had to get to where WE were staying for the night. We hit the road agin, stopping by Taco Bell for lunch. And on a side note, Taco Bell kicks all other fast food restaraunts' asses! we then reached Caty, Texas. Eventually we realized that we needed disposable cameras, because Alex couldn't bring his camera. stare So we went to Walgreens and bought 2 cameras. I got the change, which was 2 cents. It was good that we bought 2 because we wasted film FAST. We drove for about 5 more minutes when we finally reached the place where we were staying... a MANSION! Everyone but Josh and his mom's mouth dropped when they saw the mansion. It was a nice mansion too, but I'll get to that later. We unpacked the trunk and walked into the mansion. Upon walking in, I accidentally stepped on a lizard, and it's tail twitched for a few minutes. Poor lizard... But anyway, we went upstairs to the "party room", which did in fact look like a party room. We dropped our bags and Josh began to give us the grand tour.

He started by opening a closet-sized door, which revealed an elevator. It was cramped and dark in there, but it led to the lower floor. He then showed us all the rooms, they were all very nice looking, and don't even get me started with the library! Ok, I'll tell you. In the library, a bookshelf opened up, revealing a private workroom! I was amazed, because Josh was betting that we couldn't open it... And we couldn't figure it out. Turns out you just pull it open like a normal door. That was cool. Then we played some Super Smash Bros. Melee, and I won 2000 gold for beating josh in a tournament!

Eventually we left for the Tour at 4:00 PM, where we departed for the Verizon
Wireless theatre in Houston, Texas. The line was long when we got there, so we decided to pictochat with our DS and found other people in line that chatted with us.
But then we got bored and put them away. We then reached the front of the line, after about 15 minutes of waiting. WE WERE IN! We were amazed at how many people were there. Lots of gamer girls too, we were surprised. Then the first thing we saw was merchandise featuring the Fusion Tour and the bands that played there, such as Hawthorne Heights, Relient K, Plain White Tees, Emmery(sp?), and the Sleeping. We then entered to win a DS that was signed by all the members of Hawthorne Heights, and got a free keychain and guitar pick! We then noticed people going into the concert room. Not many people were there, but the band that played first, The Sleeping, were pretty good. After they quit playing, we left to check out other things, like the Nintendo Wii! We stood in line to play demos of launch titles for the Wii, and I played wario Ware, so did Alex and Josh. Marcos played this tennis game with Josh. Then we went to the DS Lite section and tried out this cool DS game. Well I watched... And everyone got free headphones except for me... because I didn't play the game, lol. we missed the Emmery and Plain White Tees concerts, but went to see Relient K. That's when the fun started. Josh was thrown up in the crowd, followed by me and Marcos, who almost got dropped, but then he got lowered to the front with all the ladies. But then, even better! MOSH(sp?) PITS! Those were fun, athough my body is sore from it. I did pretty good in the pits. Eventually Hawthorne Heights came up and played, which was the end of the concerts. More mosh pits and throwing. THen when it was over, we decided to wait outside for Josh's mom to pick us up. While we waited, we got free stuff, like The Sleeping CD, TAG sun visors, TAG body spray, a pass to get into a bar(she told us to get fake IDs, lol), and of course, the best one for me was I GOT MY DS SIGNED!... By the lady at the DS light station. That was souvenier enough.
Eventually Josh's mom came and we went back to the mansion, where we hung out until we went to sleep.
