I'm proud of a profile I just made, so I'm going to post it in here:

Bio: Kaelyn was eight when the war first broke out. She had the dubious luck to see her family slaughtered before her eyes before the demons began to get the idea of possessing people. She fled with her brother, Bran, to the woods, where they were ensured survival by a clan of elves. They lived harshly, but peacefully, for five years, during which time she became extrememly skilled in woodscraft as well as swordfighting, for she and her brother sparred frequently with the swords they had fled with--the only remainders they had of their once-perfect life. Kaelyn was content with her new life, though haunted by nightmares, and nagged with a worry that a demon would come to finish the job of killing her family.
Unfortunately, she was right.
A demon came to the forest one day, and before she or the elves who had semi-adopted them could do anything, possesed Bran. His last cry as a full human was to kill him before the demon could wreak any damage. She nearly did, but when she raised her sword she found that she could not kill the familiar body of her brother. She ran.
Kaelyn honed her skills for the next two years, with the elves' help, ignoring the stories of the unspeakable horrors the thing wearing her brother's body had wrought. Finally, she sought out the demon and killed it. As she watched the blood run out of her brother's body, something inside of her broke and never quite healed. She has hovered on the brink of insanity ever since.
Weapons: A sword named Aeryth (Justice), a dagger in her boot
Abilities: Can move silently through a forest, trained to fight by elves, faint prophetic gift (as of yet unacknowledged)
