I've heard it said that there is one creature with no master, and yet it serves them all. It is the Raven, the herald of the night. The Raven, unlike many creatures is not bound by the laws that govern us, and yet is more a prisoner than we, to its demands.
He is the herald of death and life, the bringer of night, who carries the light of the moon on his wings. The Raven flies freely through are dreams.
It is said the Raven is the greatest guardian, but the Raven is also the most feared sign, a portent of evil.
The Raven is a contradiction.
