Good Night! This past week was a BLAST!

Okay so I went to two colleges this week...hence the college trip. But this entry will be entirely about my trip. Not very detailed at the beginning because I much prefer to go into detail about the second college. ^_^ So here we go to......

Northland Baptist Bible College

Okay, so on Sunday night we arrive and all safe and sound. Monay we went to one class, church history. That was interesting since it was kinda boring. But we were thrown into it out of no where so duh it would be confusing. They were talking in detail about the Reformation with Martin Luther. Its history so I'll remember it well. Then after that we got a tour of the college wich was pointless for me since I know where everything is from going to camp there. Then we went out to eat at a Country Mill or something like that. On Tuesday we went to Modern America and that was it. We only had to go to classes till lunch which was after chapel that was held everyday. The food was okay. I know many people who go to Northland which is nice. But they dont offer much by way of majors. I did enjoy one nice thing...this girl said the weirdest thing that is true...Atilla the Hun died by a nosebleed. Ironic if you think about it.

Maranatha Baptist Bible College

This school I enjoyed much more than Northland. So much to say about this college I dont know quite were to begin. I guess I'll start with the dorm. One of the people in our church is a dorm supervisor so we got to stay in her dorm which is called Melford Hall. My roommates were Katy Heather and Amanda. One of the girls was on a band tour so I slept in her bed. Sadie(a friend of mine and a fellow freshman.) was in the same room. The dorm was old but pretty nice anyway. We got to the school at about 5pm Tuesday and went out to eat before the play dress rehesal we would be going to. Ok new paragraph just to talk about the play and someone in the play....

The play is called The Importance of Being Earnest. It was SO good. I totally want to see it agian with the same actors/actresses who did it at Marantha. The play was so funny. My favorite character is Algernon who is played by Fraser Armstrong( awesome name aint it?). Fraser is TOTALLY HOT! Okay yeah I have like an obession with him. more about him later. Anyway, Katharine and I both LOVE him. Lets just keep it simple to say that the play rocked the house man.

Next...Classes. They were so much fun. I really enjoyed them. on Wednesday I went to a Grammar Workshop. Its a class for those who did poorly in English at High School. Sad thing is first hour at Marantha begins at the appalling time of 7:20 am. After that class I was going to History of Civbut i went with Katy to the Cival War and Reconstruction class. After that we had chapel both days because like Northland, Marantha has chapel everyday. After Chapel on Wednesday I saw Chelsie C. who was my counselor at camp this past summer. We sorta caught up with each other before I left for a tour. At the end of the tour I got some information on the college. I might just go there! That would be so awesome. Im getting to Thursday but lemme finish Wednesday.

After a while we left and ate at Applebees(my first time) before we went to Calvary Baptist for Wednesday night church. We saw Fraser there!(like I said....Fraser obsessed). After church we just hung out and the girls had a small pizza party before being weird and watching a excersise vid. All the nights was a late nights and early mornings witch was fine. I had a blast and that is what I liked.

Thursday was probably the best day of my life. Okay that was a hyberole. But it was AWESOME! I had to go to first hour agian but Katharine and I went to Cultural Anthropology. That class from what i gathered is talking about the cultures of not only america but other places as well. They were talking about marriage and family. The teacher was nice and gave us notes so we could follow along better. Then...it was the most glorious class I think I will ever take. We asked Sadie and Herc if they wanted to come with us but when they found out it was History of Drama they said yuck and walked away. I thought maybe Fraser would be in that class because he was in the play. I WAS TOTALLY RIGHT! He was in there when we walked in. I almost had a heartattack. That class we found out his name was Fraser. I have no idea what was said. I just sorta stared at him. and wrote about him in my journal while he gave a presentation on Realism. I must say the best 50 minutes of my life.

After the class we had chapel....and a perfect view of Fraser too. There was a kid there who got into a really bad motorcycle accident. He broke all limbs,his neck and nose as well as a split diaphram, I think puntured lungs (either that or they totally collapsed). He was in really ba shape. But like I said...Praise God for His wonderful healing powers. After chapel we saw Fraser walking out. Katharine and i wanted to follow him to his next class but decided agianist it. We did see him at lunch before we left and that was the last time i saw Fraser in real life. He's a sophmore. which is cool....too old for me though TT.TT Lol.
