Ed just sat there in his little ball shaking. “Edward? Edward do you remember me?” Ed looked up at her slowly. Riza could tell he was still in shock from whatever happened. “First Lutenient Hawkeye..” Ed whispered. Riza laughed. “Something like that. I’m a Lutenient Colonel now Ed.” She turned to the nearest solider. “Why hasn’t anyone gotten this boy a blanket.” The solider saluted. “Yes sir.” She looked back at Ed. “Edward where is Alphonse?” Ed shook in the cold. The shock he was suffering was starting to wear off. “I…I don’t know. Someone abducted us from the other side of the gate. Al and I were dropped here I lost him before I landed.” Someone was throwing a blanket around him. He heard Riza’s voice. “This is The Full Metal Alchemist. Take him to Central Headquarters medical ward, and make sure it’s private. No one should know except those who absolutely have to. I don’t even want to see a report on this until I say.” Riza touched Ed’s shoulder again. “Edward. We’ll find you brother. I promise.” Ed watched as Riza turned and walked away. Before she left he’s sight he saw another solider approach her. “Sir… should we tell General Mustang?” Edward shook under his blanket. “General?” Riza looked down at the ground. Ed couldn’t see her face but he was willing to beat anything she was torn in between her choices. “No, make sure the General doesn’t know. I want to tell him myself.”
