Who was she? A young woman wearing a ragged shadow dress and tattery white jacket, had come as of recent to the small town of Dusk... for reasons no one knew, or quite frankly wanted to know. Why was everyone trying to avoid her? She was only seen in the graveyard, around one particular stone... No one had seen her eyes, but they were piercing blue. Wisps of long black hair fell gently into her face as she knelt at the grave, always seen crying. She wore a top-hat, held a magician’s wand, and was always accompanied by a book. Did she think she was a magician? Impossible! However, she was. The girl, known later to be Tabitha Mourning, was indeed a magician... Or more accurately witch, considering she was female. Her profession-- assassin, well, actually she called herself a Demon-slayer. Completely outrageous... Her business there was her own secret to tell to whoever she found trusted. Tabitha told only one person of her true business there, her uncle Past. Once Mourning left, Past stated that his niece was there to mourn for a friend. Well, that would explain why she hung around the graveyard. But that didn’t explain the clothes. When the citizens of Dusk looked at the grave she hung around, all was clear: Tabitha Mourning Born February 19, 1835 Died February 19, 1849 Accused of Witchcraft and Murder The legends were true? The Slayer of Dusk... She was real? But why did her ghost return? There were flowers left at the grave; there was a note in a sealed envelope. When someone opened it, they saw that it read: "I will bring you back, my niece. Don't despair." Where was her uncle while they looked at the grave? Was the Slayer of Dusk really coming back? What was happening in the city of Dusk...?
