Yellow banana

As you sit and peel a banana
remember the bright yellow sun

with pink and yellow butterflies
flying up high in the morning sky

making lemonade in the hot
summer shade

or play with little yellow
chicks in the front yard
watching birds fly up ahead

or pick yellow flowers and
tear off the petals
while watching another
beautiful yellow sunrise

or just sit and eat a
yellow banana
