Letter to an outer self

You keep me here
Locked inside a cage
Inside my heart
I fill with rage
I’m slowly falling apart
But that doesn't matter to you
You don’t give a dam for what you do
I know your childhood past
How it began but didn't last
I'm sorry for your dark fate
I know there aren't words that can elate
Your obvious pain
And I am sorry
For all they did to you
For all you’ve been through
But I can’t forgive your misdoing
Look at me now
Are you happy
For what you’ve done?
