Why, lucky Gaia! Kankuro yawned. "'Kay, seeya Gaara. I'm going to bed. Remember you need to sleep now, okay?" Kankuro began walking towards to hall that led to the bedrooms.
Gaara nodded slightly. "Hm..." Kankuro poked his head back into the living room. "...Hey, you okay?" Gaara nodded again, staring at the ceiling above, his hands folded on his chest. Kankuro came back and sat on the arm chair next to the couch which Gaara lay on. "What are you thinking about...?" Gaara continued staring at the ceiling. "Relationships." Kankuro burst into a smile. "Heheh! That's my little bro! Who is she? Is she hot? Smart? Powerful?" Gaara shoock his head, closing his eyes. Kankuro blinked. "Hm? What do you me-- oh." Kankuro also looked at the ceiling now.
Silence.
Awkward...
Silence.
Kankuro finally broke the silence with a sigh. "Who? Ditto last comment."
Gaara looked at Kankuro with surprise. "You don't care?" Kankuro smiled. "Course not! I can't hate my little bro for being who...he...is..." Kankuro trailed off, realizing what he just said. Gaara looked back at the ceiling. Kankuro scratched his head, mentally kicking himself. "So, who is he?" Gaara looked up at Kankuro and got up. He whispered to Kankuro, hoping no one would hear.
Kankuro, at first, looked surprised. Then, he tried to hold back a laugh.
Fail.
"H-him?" Kankuro said once he calmed down.
