Some people make me sick
Every so often someone does something that I just can't understand. I just want to shout "how can you call yourself a human being!?" Perhaps I should explain the source of the pent-up rage. Yesterday, we had a client bring a cat in to be euthanized. The client didn't want to stay, didn't want the ashes back, and didn't want the cat carrier back. The cat was 15 and I assumed she had some sort of complication from old age. When I took her out of the carrier, she was a little on the thin side, but otherwise appeared to be in good health. I was later talking to our receptionist and it turns out the reason the owner gave for wanting to have her euthanized was because she kept peeing on the couch...... eek scream WTF!? The thing I don't understand is why people don't really think before making decisions like that. There are animal rescue centers, they could have given her to friends, or they could have just made her an outside cat or put her in the garage.... it's times like this when I really hate people.
