It was ok... I don't think you missed anything, I wasn't there for most of it but logging in a few minutes ago and reading the stickies was enough to fill me in, which means nothing that interesting happened. There was something about Gambino coming to the Von Helson mansion and stirring up a "revolution", then the twins found out and kidnapped Gino... they asked Gambino to leave and never return to Durem in return for Gino, he agreed -although reluctantly- and that's it... so far. Gino, interestingly enough, is still shown as part of the twins avatars... so, guess they didn't return him like they said they would.

That's it. In a nutshell. They gave out G-pins and V-pins and other items, people speculate that the G-pins where to show that you supported Gambino's revolution and if you wore the V-pins it was to show that you supported the twins... just items, in my opinion.

Don't forget the constant database errors resulting in a multitude of refreshing. Also, Gaia wen't under maintenance quite a bit.

In addition to giving out items, NPCs appeared at the top of the screen and said various things. The town NPCs, that new reporter NPC Cindy Donovich, Gambino (dragging around his still-mindless son), the Von Holson sisters, and a couple of labtechs including LabtechX (!!!) all had plenty of random quotes.

It was really nice! But not a lot of drama or action like what happened to Gambino mansion. But it was still good... I guess.

Well, lots of bumping threads, crackpot theories, and free items and insults given out every 5 minutes. xd

The plot was ok, but, as usual, the forum part was just spamming for items and gold. I'm so sick of gaia society.

(Do you want my vpin halves? I got a second set while running around trying to say hi to as many people as possible that day.)

Events are traumatic experiences on the staff side. XD

It wasn't all bad, Parts of it were fun. You did miss my Staff Appreciation thread which had fan art of the mods and admin who posted in it and NOT A SINGLE, SOLITARY ANTI-MOD OR ANTI-ADMIN SENTIMENT POSTED! Which I think has to be a record. You can see the subsequent Thank you list and art pickup thread that was in Q&F at:

http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6145114

194 thank yous and 39 pieces of art with no flames or negativity involved biggrin

Reading people's comments, i think everyone hated it.

Pfft, so i might seem like a n00b when i say, BEST EVENT EVER O:

We got scared by the sisterers, heart warmed by gambino, and gave out acidic lemonade (well my thread did anyway)
And then i discovered the tea room O:

Sorry you wasn't there, but there again the items are cheap enough, and the posting was the only thing that made it fun.
