poems/quotes teehee...
Trapped Time's eye shapes The world I see
Searching lost things With a broken heart Touching your hand
Watching heavy pain clouds Thundering over valleys, cut From the deep loss of the time When our souls touched
Tortured, I sit trapped Prisoner to my memories ~David Sherwood~(jenny's dad and actually someone i talked to a lot)
Your Name I wrote your name in the sand but the waves washed it away, I wrote your name in the clouds but the wind blew it away, Then I wrote your name in my heart where it is there to stay ~from Joanna Caldeira(no she didn't write it but she gave it to me)
Spend your time wisely, for you know not when it ends. ~Sara Hunt~(also a good friend of mine, she said this to me once in math class)
This next poem is a special poem written for me by Jenny's dad, David Sherwood. He wrote it the night when i found out someone I knew, and considered to be my friend, commited suicide. He wrote it from my view towards her view...its a special poem and still makes me sad.
Where did you go Without saying our goodbyes Is all I can think With rain cloud pool eyes
With bitter sweet memories Of light hearted times Is what's left of you dear friend Stored here in my mind
The joy you brought me In the time we shared The laughter that completes me With the friendship we fared
I will see you there In the halls we walked I will feel you here From the times we talked
This life could not hold you For reasons unknown But in this life I keep you From my heart you have shown
With my rain soaked heart I must now say goodbye You will be in my thoughts And every tear that I cry ~David Sherwood~
The saddest thing about this is, this year I'm back in the same classroom I had been in with her, we had earth science together even though she was a senior and I was a freshman, but I'm back in that same class room, sitting just a few seats away from where we sat and it weighs on my mind. Sure I'm in there now for creative writing but I will always remember her and being next to her and sharing my notes with her when she came in late or came back from an absence. I miss her. Anyways, those are the poems and the quote for today.
