Nathan stormed in to his room and throws his backpack against the wall. He turned to the closed door behind him and with that yelled at the air around him till his lungs could take no more. His forehead was covered in sweat from that exploding moment, the day was just a disaster and it was just getting worse.
He had woken up late and missed the bus that morning, and then he failed a test that brought his average in the class to failing. Later in lunch, his girlfriend broke up with him for some guy on “the football team”. After school his parents couldn’t pick him up so he had to walk home and then some punks decide it would be cool to take all his stuff and fight with him. So, he was just about ready to burst.
Licking his lips he could taste the saltiness of blood, all of a sudden his mother called for him. With that he walked out of his sanctuary, making sure to stay close to his bedroom door, he leaned against the wall and grunted, his mother looked at him for a second and then started ranting about not remembering anything and not being compassionate enough.
He walked towards the kitchen to maybe get away from the conversation, but his mother yelled at him even more. So, he sat on the couch and started staring at his ring hoping it would move. His mother kept going on and on about things he didn’t care about or have heard already. This conversation was going no where so he yelled back at his mom. He looked at her finally in the eyes and she told him to just go back to his room. He couldn’t stand that house any more.
He slammed the door again and turned on his radio full blast then yelled out again about all the things that ticked him off. He then stood there in the middle of the room and took a deep breath, this was to help calm him down but instead it did the opposite. He grabbed his pillow and violently threw it against the door.
