Yay for the people who actually use them. Nay for those that abuse them. I mean, the only reason they use it to abuse is because they have something to hide. Someone just PMed me to complain to me about his donations he made in 2006. Of course I automatically inform him of the things he need to pay attention to. But I fell for it Y__Y Yep, I fell for drama-baiting....

Last year (2006) I donated 37 dollars to gaia to recive donation letters. I never recived said letters. I've tried contacting gaia over and over with no results other then sarcasum threats and lies.
I don't know wheather you people desided 37 dollars wasn't 'enough' to warrent me getting anything or if you needed the money badly for food or what.
But in the corse of trying to solve this I've given infomation to people only for them to lie and say 'never seen it' I quoted the address I sent to and they admited it's gaia's so I know 'never seen it' is a lie.
One mod even tried to pull the wool over my eyes by saying 'I'll go down to gaia HQ and see if it's come" only to remain signed in on the website ACTIVELY POSTING!!! but still I gave him the benifit of the doubt I mean who knows maybe he has a cloning machine and he sent his clone to check for the money!
But the kicker for me was when I finally PM'd him asking him if he had gone and what the results were of his trip. He lied to me twice in his reply.
Once by saying he went which is impossible No one can keep posting on gaia and go somewhere at the same time. It's impossible.
And due to his first answer the second lie was when he said 'I didn't see anything there'.
I don't understand. If 37 dollars wasn't enough why not just ask me if I'd mind donateing more?
If the people who handle the donations were in some kind of money trouble why didn't they own up and say so? I would have sent extra to help them!

I'm speaking only as a user on Gaia Online. I am no longer in cohesion with Gaia Online since my retirement back in 2005. As a long time member of this community, I can assure you whoever you spoken with can be de-modded if you provide the name and the actual PM converation you had with this person. The behavior of this moderator whomever that maybe, is un-professional. Please provide the name of that moderator so I may report him/her for you.
As for the donation you've made back in 2006. I'm going to assume it's a Mail-In donation. What form of currency did you use? Was it Cash, Money Order, or Check? As stated all throughout the website, if it's a Cash donation, Gaia Online is not responsible for cash donations lost in transit. If it was Money Order or Check, you can simply cancel or redeem them back.
I am in no way trying to push you aside. I'm just giving you the facts that's been provided on the website, forums, and so forth since the launch of Gaia Online's donations. Gaia Online is not responsible for Mail-In donations lost in transit (namely cash donations). Gaia has recommended numerous times for users to not mail-in Cash. That is a risk users have taken upon themselves. Gaia has even stated that all throughout the website.

I have also taken into the liberty of forwarding this PM I've recieved to an administrator on Gaia Online.
threats will not scare me away sir. they only make you look guilty. Also I checked out the address and zipcode for gaiaonline incase the mistake is mine and i found out somthing important
all this mess would have been avoided if you people had used a REAL address insted of one you pulled out of your hat. Also a real zipcode would have helped too. So would a real name. Maybe you'll rember that next time you try to scam people.

I am not a Sir and I do not work for Gaia Online, so your complaints and accusation has indeed gone to waste. I am a "user" on Gaia Online.
The address is a Postal Box. A PO Box is a small little box in a Post Office. That is a REAL address because the United States Postal Service recognize the PO Box as a real address. And that is a REAL zipcode...a zipcode that the USPS has desginated when created the zero infront of all United States Postal System.
I have no idea what your problem is. But sending Cash currency through the mail is a risk YOU did not Gaia Online.

^O^ I've heard of this excuse SOOOOO many times...that a moderator ignored him/her and harassed him/her. First red flag on this PM was: "...no results other then sarcasum threats and lies." I reported the PM @_@ lol after I noticed some trolling activity in his post history. I'm glad I didn't go through with the explaining how to report that imaginary moderator of his/her.
stare There are other excuses...like My brother just died that's a really mean thing to use as an excuse. I rather be OFF of Gaia than be on it, if someone in my family died....The nerve of some people.
