Truth

Love, despair, hope,
All are feelings that can hurt.
None in which that truly matter.

Trust, friendship, care for others,
Are the ones that matter to me.
When I think of you,
I care only that you are safe, and happy.

I learned that it isn’t the stronger,
Or tougher that win,
But it is the one with the stronger will.

I would die to save the ones I love.
I would do anything,
Anything I can to keep some people safe.
If only I could bring some people back,
From where they are now.

Some people deserve death,
While others deserve life.
Why does it have to be this way?
Why can’t it change?

I guess that some things are better left unsaid.
And to live in guilt of the things we have done.
