My poor journal... I've neglected you so horribly since exams.
And there's so much to that's happened! I'll skip the soap opera-melodrama parts, and give a quick review of the good stuffs!
~ Had a new boyfriend for about two weeks. Was incredibly swept up by how sweet he was and the simple fact that he was very taken with me. Then I realized he was simply crazy. In the three weeks I knew him, he managed to find out we had everything in common (although he could say nothing about the majority of it), and he wrote himself into the rest of my life, potential schooling in Ireland and all! It ended up very much being a case of "Here's your sign..." stare
~ I have a house!!! Finally, all of the leasing and negotiating has gone through, and my roomies and I have gotten our lease for our house for next year. Our lease starts the 1st of May, but the girls living there now (awesome friends of mine) have said we can start moving in any time.
~ I have a job! And not just an job: I have procured for myself a student manager position at meal hall without any experience whatsoever. They're going to pay me to stand around for 20-30 hours a week and tell people what to do. This, is so incrdibly hot.
~ I've had my first Spring Break trip ever!!!! Drayke took me home with her (him?) for the break and I got to meet her family, her friends (including Sikona!) and I got to go shopping. Mmmm... Pacific Mall Asian import goodness... Anyone who says to me "Gypsy, there is no way you can spend $400 in just a couple of hours without making any major purchases" so doesn't know anything about me. I was so broke, and it was so awesome.
I also got to experience skiing for the first time. I skied into a tree, off the trail, into my instuctor... I skiied everywhere but where I was supposed to! And spent more time on my a** in the snow than on my feet. After an hour, and hurtng myself, I gave up and spent the rest of the day int he lodge. I got a five minute massage, a ten minute manicure, and all was well. It would have been much better had it not been ladies day and there had been some sexy, sexy mens around but I endured.
~ Plans are in the motion for my birthday this year (yes, I'm fully aware of teh fact that my birthday is six months away at this point). I think I'm probably going to host a murder mystery night at the house, and it will be so awesome! Getting great feedback so far, so it should be good!
~ I've realized I should be getting a degree in spychology. In a two week period, nearly all of my close friends came to me with advice on one clamity or another while I was quietly trying to work through a number of mingled problems of my own. In the words of Drayke: "Nessa, I don't know how your head didn't explode."
