Since this is about the only place I can do this without anyone who shouldn't be seeing this seeing this, I fully intend to b***h, rant and otherwise vent.
I've been settled into my appartment since Sunday, and I walked into a mess. Dishes sitting in the sink for a month, stinking garbage that had been there for a month, and an absent room mate who's lieing to me and I'm really getting pissed off about it. "I've only been there twice int he last mionth, and only for no more than five minutes." Bull s**t. There was a kettle full of water on the stove that wasn't there two weeks ago, and some had used the BBQ and not cleaned it. Of course, he looks at my surprised when I mention this and ask who could have done that. I ******** wonder!
So the majority of my second day was spent cleaning. First night wasn't so bad; Ben was over and stayed the night and that was great at first. Aaron and I had tons of fun, too. Then bed time came, and I offered for Ben to come stay in with me since the living room freaks him out. Big mistake. We've been working very unsuccessfully at ending an affair for a while now. We did pretty good until I we both went to sleep. I woke up to him nibbling on my ear and being stroked and caressed. I thought "Screw it! One step forward, two steps back!" and rolled over to pursue things faster. But that's when he blew me off. I felt violated; absolutely used because he did that when I was asleep. He says he was half awake when he started it, and I don't know one way or another. But I do know I was hysterical for several hours and we saw the sun come up before I had calmed down enough to breathe. I was still shaking and couldn't sit still; I was just constantly rocking. It was the closest I've ever come to a nervous break down. We're cool with everything and all, so I guess it's all good.
A big chunk of day two was spent cleaning. We had to move all of the furniture because we had mould growth and larva casings; my appartment had been full of maggots! Grose! There was mould in the toilet, under the fridge... I mean, it was absolutely disgusting. But, Ben Aaron and I cleaned it up, ranted about Joey, who left the mess, and all seemed fine. Jon was over for supper, and we had a really good supper. In fact, I've had really good suppers all week so far, even if I have cooked most of them. Ben went home that night, and it was the first night Aaron and I had alone together. Which we spent most of in our respective rooms on our comps, but it was all good. Until we found out about the ******** mouse.
Now, allow me to explain. Our friend Danielle has this pet mouse that one of her roommates didn't want in their place. My roommate, Joey, who's been virtually stalking Danielle, offered to take the mouse for her so she could come see it any time. I wasn't cool with this, and neither was anyone else, because we knew he'd use it as a way to manipulate her, get her up here to come see "the mouse" when she didn't really want to hang out with him. I talked to her roommate who had the problem with the mouse, and he came around. Then Dani was manipulated and persuaded into leaving the mouse here. Aaron and I were livid!
Of course Joey won't admit to manipulating her; only pointing out misinformation.
Next day, was awesome! Tito came down to stay for a few days, and he, Aaron and I had an awesome day. They put silly "porn" pics on my comp, we went to the mall and stuff, and it was great. We had a lot of laughs, and I got to talk to Dani about Joey since I've been really worried about her all summer over all of this mess with Joey. It came out just how badly he's been distorting things, and now I'm actually scared having him as a roommate. At least Dani's going to start doing something about it.
Today started out awesomely. I walked to the mall with Tito, ordered an MP3 Player online. New drapes went up, and today was my BBQ! I was so excited! New drapes went up, so the appartment is pretty much set now. Joey still wasn't here, everyone else was going to be, so it was all good. People came, we had a lot of laughs, and I was so happy. We ate, and then people starting leaving. A few people stayed. Then Aaron's ex showed up with Dani and her best friend. And I hate Aaron's ex. With a passion.
Joey showed up shortly after they did, and my evening has gone all down hill after that. Mostly because my BBQ has turned into a birthday party for someone I can't stand. I'm donw to my last nerve nw, and I really want people to go home. We need a meeting of the tennants, and we need it soon to get things straightened away. Loud, annoying voices have just really worn away my last ounce of tolerance, and I have class early tomorrow morning.
Arghh... What a way to start out my school year...
And I was so excited to be seeing people again yesterday, to be able to hang out and laugh and have fun. It seems so long ago now. I watched a plane tonight and wished I was on it, going any where so long as it was away from here, which is sad. Because I wanted this house so badly.
