I started hearing voices, when all I saw was darkness. Some shades of blue that looked like fog, the voices were fading. Almost as if I was walking towards the opposite direction. I saw a light, I thought that meant I was dying. But, I could still hear the voices. It sounded as if they were calling my name. On the other side, I heard voices too.
"Welcome, Karen." Was a welcoming, warm voice. I always saw this in movies, but, this is quite real. So, I decided to do what came natural.
"Am I dead?" I questioned, as my red hair blew back from the wind.
The tall, brown haired, brown eyed man smiled.
"No, you're still alive, we all are."
"I don't understand."
"When your new, you never understand." I looked around and saw buildings through the large windows all around, I was standing in a spacious room, which I saw, without a door.
"How do we get out?"
"You give a command." Give a command? What did that mean?
"Like..."
"Door." The word echoed through out the room. A wide door appeared, like magic.
"Where's my friends and family?"
"On Earth."
"Where are we?"
"A place where we can only escape when we're ready."
