Reasons for:

-Iruka is like Naruto. Kakshi is like Sasuke. Naruto and Sasuke are defintely together so therefore so must be these two.
-They're both teachers
-Their personalities compliment each other
-Iruka is the reason why Kakashi is always late
-They'd look cute together
-Iruka is very ukish
-Iruka seems like a dog person, Kakashi a cat. Therefore opposite and opposites attract
-Iruka is only a Chuunin and so needs a jounin like Kakashi to protect him
-Iruka is very nice to little kids so would be very nice to his boyfriend
-They're names can become one: Irukakashi. This obviously means something.

Reasons against:

-There are very few scenes with them together
-Kakashi reads porn with female characters which suggests he may be straight
-There are lots of Jounin who could protect Iruka

So as Irukakashi cannot be denied:

IrukaxKakashi!!!!!!!!!
