OK, so it snowed here, and the snow plow went by.
You have to understand that I have a really long driveway. So my mom decided to move her car to the top in case she was unable to get out. So the car was at the top and the plow went by, blocking the car from the road with several feet of snow. I didn't realize my mom wanted me to tell her earlier. This morning the snow was frozen solid.
My mom winds up chopping away at the ice all morning. Then my neighbor and I go sledding. We decide to go to her house because my hill is killer and steep and stuff. And when we get to the top, I offer to help my mom. All three of us are chopping at the snow when my neighbor decides to go back to her house to get another shovel.
She returns with a pickax.
We got the rest of the snow chopped up in no time.

Then we sledded and slid down the hill on our stomachs. Yes, that's how icy it was. And eventually we came in and had hot chocolate.
