Chapter 1 part 2
Here's more history! The fathers name is subject to change as I'm not overly happy with it. I don't know if this is as good quality as before but I'll leave that to you guys :>
OH, if you think you can draw the four brothers, leave me a PM or comment and I'll send you a description :>

Dawn slowly encroached on the second night of the hurried race against nature. The snow had already begun to fall and the ground was covered in almost a foot of the light powdery stuff. The packs alpha, Dante's father, Jors stayed in the lead despite his age. For the time however, the pack was resting, every one had a thin layer of snow covering their fur. Despite the length of the run, only three of the pack lay in exhaustion.
Vyr, though tired, lay brooding over his defeat against his father. He had boasted openly of what he'd do when he won, his pride had been crushed. "I never stood a hope..." Beside him sat the carefree Cay, not bothering or unable to think of words of comfort. Either way he sat in silence.
Near the front of the pack, close to their father lay the twins. Both exhausted near the point of collapse and in the snow, neither could be distinguished from the other. In an act unlike that of which Dante viewed his father, he approached them and questioned them in a caring voice, "how are you two?" Dante was the first to speak. "And what are you going to do if we say we're tired? Tell us to try harder? I have no interest in becoming alpha, stop pushing me to become it." The response was spoken by the entire pack in silence. Vyr wagged his tail at his brothers defiance, Cay watched the two in interest and Bec stared at Dante in horror. The world to Dante and Jors shrunk to become just the two. Dante met his fathers emotionless gaze with anger. None would admit it, but Dante was acting just as his father had.
The reply, the barking, the fighting, all held their breath waiting for it to occur. All held their breath in vain. Jors silently turned around and sat near his mate, the brothers mother, the one who comforted the brothers when they were young and continued to comfort the father. All knew the subject the two discussed was Dante. Frequent glances at the young wolf made it clear. Try as he might Dante couldn't hear the conversation. He doubted he would ever know it to. His concentration was broken by Bec. His voice snapping Dante back to reality.
"Father takes that stuff very seriously, you realize that right Dante?"
*Dante nodded silently and had opened his mouth to speak when a sudden bark cut him off. One of the males called out to Jors from the rear. "A storm is approaching. We must leave!" Jors snapped his head to the sky along with every other lycan. He dropped his gaze down to Dante and held it. He let out a swift bark and the pack shot off running again, leaving the area once again silent and peaceful.
