My recent poem... Not that anyone cares...

You went away
Out of my reach forever more
Was my, little, house pet - then went stray
Please wash up on my shore

Waves of battle
In my heart, it's broken
I'm a horse without a saddle
I opened my eyes, awoken

And now I can't breath, my soul won't let me
Have been hit with reality
I can't - no - won't let you free
I beg for thee

For you to come
For you to care
My mind is numb
My love for you, I will share

I promise for it to be better - no - I swear
Our relationship will be power
I swear I will be fair
My care for you is a beutifully, blossomed, flower

Just tell me if there's hope
I can't stand this any longer
I need a way to cope
My yearn for you is stronger

I can no longer show my eyes
For they show nothing but agony
When people see - there's no more surprise
Why not come back to me

There's someone else, I heard
I've been told
For your backup, I'm your third
I choose to believe now, you're not the one I want to hold

Now our hearts are both set free
How could I have been so weak
I choose to see
There's no love flowing, as the water in a creek

It's all okay now
I understand, not fully, but well enough
You asked me how
I understand that life is rough

I moved on
Not to another, like yourself, I know
In my heart, something is strangely gone
Don't expect to crawl back to me, I have no love to show
