I take DARE:
She stood still, calm and silent. Her eyes scanned the scene, full of death and despair. People were picking themselves up and patching up their wounds. But not everyone had survived.
She could taste the blood in her mouth, sour and disgusting, she wanted to spit it out but she dared not move. For she was surrounded by dead bodies.
She breathed in, taking in a deep intake of air - it wasn't fresh. The smell of rotting corpses, blood and the past battle filled her mind and abolished her hunger for food. She could still taste metal, the metal sword that had skimmed by her mouth, merely scratching her tongue but leaving the horrible taste. There were sounds of crying in the distance, the cries of newly made widows as they discovered the bodies of their tragically dead husbands.
"War is worthless...nothing can become of it..." She murmured, for her heart went out to those who had lost loved ones.
TRUTH: Have you ever thought of/or actually written a story where animals take the roles of main characters, an example of one such book would be Redwall.
DARE: Write a paragraph describing a scene filled with cute animals in a heavenly like garden.
