School has gotten harder. I've nearly shut down my formerly-active editing biz. Boyfriend borke up with me for some nasty chick with badly dyed hair. The only good things I can think of at the moment go hand in hand with bad things. First, I was born and raised in Milpitas - and we're finally moving back. It took three years, and now I feel like I'm stuck here for the last year of my high school life - forgive me for not wanting to be a loner senior year. Mom and Dad say that if we do pack up and leave before school starts next year, they'd send me to Piedmont Hills - a better school, perhaps, but none of my old friends go there. None.
Visited Grandma and Grandpa this weekend. They are so sweet and sad, in that old-person kind of way. Grandma stocked the fridge with apple juice, my favorite morning drink, when she heard we were coming. I about cried when I saw the big bottle in there, unopened. Poor Gran. Grandpa is getting more and more senile - and now his liver's failing. He's off the be tested soon, and the doctors will decide whether or not he should start injecting insulin. He's been diabetic for as long as I can remember, but recently he had a stroke - and things have only gotten worse.
So, yeah, things are changing up here, once again. I kinda wish I could move back, just to get all the change over with. The house is already half packed into boxes. I managed to persuade te parents into leaving my room well enough alone. The realtors aren't happy with how "lived-in" all my stuff makes it. Fie on them. Fie.
