I hate Microsoft!
I'm tired of Microsoft pimping Windows Vista. I don't want to upgrade to a memory-hungry, unstable monstrosity of an operating system; maybe once they've released a service pack or two, and fixed the most egregious problems, I'll consider it. But I don't think it's very nice of them to discriminate against XP owners when it comes to games. The Windows version of Geometry Wars requires Vista; since this is a simple little game based on the vector graphics style of 80's arcade games, why the hell couldn't they make it compatible with XP? (You might wonder: why haven't I just downloaded the Xbox Live version? Because I'm not on Xbox Live. I live in a house built in the 1930's, and expanded in haphazard fashion in the 1960's; and there's no way to connect my Xbox to the Internet without tripping myself daily with a grotesque tangle of wires. I haven't even bought that USB Wi-Fi doohickey for the Wii yet, because I'm not sure it would work with the bizarre layout of this room.)
