So I took my mom to go see TMNT because we have seen the past ones and we both loved it. The whole thing around TMNT is that the Heros in a Half Shell have defeated Shredder and then separated and are sorta doing their own thing while still living in the sewars with their mentor and master Splinter voiced by talented Mako who did voises for other popular characters such as Aku from Samurai Jack and Uncle Iroh from Avitar: Last Airbender. Mikey is doing kids parties (you will feel sorry for him), Don is tech support for some computer company, Raph is...... well..... lets just say stays active. All the while, Leo is in some area of the world (Venezuala I guess, I dunno) on this special "training" that Splinter has him doing. Well two years has since pasted and since Leo is playing "Forest Ghost", and the bros have no leader to lead them. All the while, April O'Neil played by Sara Michell Geller is in Venezuela and she is searching for these 4 3,000 year old statues for this Max Winters fella played by Patrick Stewart aka Jean-Luc Picard or Professor Charles Xavier. All the While, a new threat has reared its ugly head. Could it be the Foot (but it can't be because Shredder is no more.... right?), or how about the Purple Dragon, or maybe there is more to Max Winters than meets the eye. Great movie, awsome fight senes, excellent story that make you understand the true nature of family. Great for the whole family but you might want to leave the youngun home cause a couple of the sense might be to intence for them.
