Okay...I just saw that movie for the second time, and I cried just as much as I did last year.
Seriously...it sickens me. How could human beings treat other human beings like that...? How could the world stay quiet while people were being murdered for "crimes" such as existing, breathing, and living?
I cannot believe that people are capable of things like this. It boggles the mind, trying to decipher exactly what was going on in the thoughts of the killers: How is there any way to justify senseless murder? How could those men and women, Nazi or not, look into the eyes of a defenseless child and not feel anything? Are we not all people? Are we all not intitled to be human? To be who we are? Are we all not equal?
I hope to God in Heaven that our society as human beings never comes to this again. It's about time we started accepting each other. We're all made of blood, flesh, and bones. However, some of us still lack the ability to feel.
Rest In Peace, all victims, who suffered mentally and/or physically because of the Holocaust. You never deserved the hell you were put through. And it's a shame that the rest of the world only admits this now that you're gone.
