It was just Killian and I, sitting in the chapel, today.
Everyone else had left, and we were sort of skipping class/skipping lunch/avoiding everyone else. We were just sitting there, sketching the stained glass windows, and laughing because we reaized we were being sacreligious when we swore in an empty church. We jumped up and down with the idea that when we were off the ground, we were farther away from China, and we used up a whole seventy-page notebook with aimless doodles and hangman games. It was raining outside, but it was also sunny, and the sun was shining through the wet windows, and it made a cool pattern on the floor. We sketched that, too.
It was just one of those afternoons that was almost perfect.
