The Sweet Six-Teen Day
So for my birthday I really thought that me and my family would be going to the movie theatre, to watch a movie or something, but my parents were dressing up and all so I was really confused. Still not knowing what is going on, I went along with them. When in the car, we were about to pass the casino. Making a joke for the moment I laughed and said, "We're going to the casino!" My parents then turned towards the casino. Me, Anu and younger brother were all like "What!!!" My parents laughed and we all then stubbornly followed them. My brother was truly disappointed; he was looking forward to the popcorn. xd As it turns out, one side of the building is a casino, the other a dinner / theatre so my parents were technically correct. The whole show was hilarious. It was like "Pink Panther", with a Detective Clueless having to find out a murder case in a mansion: like Clue, with a maid, a rich female friend, a backstabbing friend, and wife and all. In some moments the actors would sing an act. The audience was also involued in some cases. Its was so funny.
During the main course, Dectective Clueless and Mr. Mustard called everyone that was celebrating a birthday that evening, to come to the front. My brother and dad somehow forced me to go up. Me along with about another 4 people were told that we were going to be shot by an pretend gun by Decetective Clueless and we were to fall as dramatically as possible. So one by one we went. I was the second to fall. My brother playing around with our new digital camera, took a short movie of my fall. It was quite amusing. I wouldn't have guessed that I fell pretty good. I can't fall backwards on carpet without being scared, but I manage to fall on hardwood floor, in front of tons of people. sweatdrop
After that scene, I finished eating my already cold chicken and needed to go to the restroom, along the way, many people wished me a "Happy Birthday" and praised my fall. It was a very interesting evening.
After the show, I returned home and got to open my gifts at 10 o'clock pm. I received a huge dolphin painted fan, .hack//G.U vol.1 Rebirth, clothes, a hand-sewed pillow by Anu, and an Artemis Fowl vol. 5 novel. Nothing much but I was am happy. I also got a total of 160$ for turning 16 I guess. ^^ heart
Update: I also beating .hack//Gu vol.1 in 16 days, though total hours played is roughly 2 days.
