So when I took over "BK90's Free Avi Contest", I knew that the road would be tough. But still, like him I spend countless hours and days just posting by myself for someone to see the thread and join. Posting by yourself without anybody else talking to you just really, really stinks. I hoped contestants would bump more, and maybe I would get around to chatting (also attracting more people), but many don't really post.

I try posting ads on other people's threads. Don't they think it's a great opportunity to join something fun for free? Do they think my "FREE" is just a hoax to get them to look at my contest? Do they not feel like reading the Rules, even though I said that's the only thing that really needs to be read? Do they not like my ads (if you don't like them you better not say they infront of me, or don't say it at all)? I can't find the answer and neither could BK.

Sometimes I go to contests and find the person gave up after 1 or 2 days of trying to attract people. That really just pisses me off. It seems like they just didn't "feel like" putting in some work into something people should enjoy.

I'm still going to do the contest but if you took the time to read this, I say thanks. I you want to join the contest and chat, they would be even better.

UPDATE: Well people are bumping now. It's a little more lively. This one person kept on bugging me about when was the contest going to begin. Give me a break. It usually takes a few days to get all the contestants.
