There's this guy. We met in high school, became really close and eventually became best friends. He was also my first boyfriend. I was his first female close friend and also his first girlfriend...
We broke up when I had to move away but we remained bestfriends up to this day. I had other relationships but he only had one after ours.
He now has a girlfriend and says that he loves her so much. I still love him and I silently hoped that we still have a chance together. I was heart broken when I found out that it's almost impossible.
Even though it hurts, we're still bestfriends and we still share almost everything with each other.
Apparently he has no idea how I feel and I'm not sure if he also feels the same thing but doesn't realize it.
He crushed me when he said this:
"I'm your bestfriend and I care about you.... that's why you should always listen to me and keep my reminders. You don't have a boyfriend there to take care of you or even worry about you.... Just me... your bestfriend."
Talk about salt on an open wound, Sheesh.
