Woah! I've been away from Gaia so long...I almost feel like an outsider! Everything's changed...the storyline, the look of Gaia, and I actually missed the X-mas event! Well...almost...I did manage to carol my way to a pair of boots.
Got a little over 3k now...still a pauper, but at least I have stuff in my inventory now....and a Performance rod biggrin
Right now, I need to get my house up in the Gaia Towns.

Heh. finally saved up more than 2k. There's so much I want to buy - stuff for my house, nice shoes, a new dress, and a fishing rod. But no way am I going back to the 3-digit bracket! I'm going to save up first.
I just discovered the joy in Multiplayer fishing. Making new friends every time I go check out Bassken lake. Life is good. Neetha, I miss you! crying

Yay! Now I have a pretty sig like everyone else. Thanks to Milorganite for your lovely mood jewels.
Finished my first slash fic. It was a different experience, alright. I just wish the Writers Guild wasn't so darn dead... scream
Oh, one more thing that bugs me...how come those Gambino Islanders found the time and resources to start a casino, but can't be bothered to clear out the unsightly rubble from their area? Very messy of them. domokun

Wow! A casino! Gaia's certainly going places... smile
That said and done, like almost every new development here, it's friggin expensive eek I nearly died when I saw the prices at Prize and Joy!
However, it's fun...and there are new characters, so more potential for the Gaia storyline biggrin More slashyness twisted

Woohoo!
I finally got my vending pass! I had to sell all my clothes and then post like crazy, but at least now I can get rid of all the stuff I collected over the past couple of events, and maybe upgrade my fishing rod.
Thanks also to the slash forum. I've never written slash before, so it's a learning experience for me, and a good way to make new friends, as well as a great way to earn some much-needed g! 4laugh
The only prob is, my non-Gaia friends are like w00t? Slash? omg! that's so ghey! mad

Woah....I've been away from Gaia too long...so much has changed. The tower's gone...replaced by TWO mansions eek Gambino's been shot, the Von Helsons are probably toast, and Gino's missing too.... neutral Poor kid...he got stuck in the middle of some weird turf war between his crazy dad and those Helson b****es... Hey Neetha...I've got loads of event memorabilia...hat, balloon, easter basket, bani mask, picket signs...I'll trade them w/ you anytime you want. 3nodding Miss your art, girl...where you at now? question

I'm beginning to wonder if supporting Gambino was such a good idea after all. Initially I thought, 'Well, he's been around a lot longer, and he's been through a lot, so even if he was initially a bad guy, he must have changed." But what with the tower and now a call to rise...and that too 1000g per head... sweatdrop I'm afraid he's lost it. What do I have against the Von Helsons? Well, they remind me of Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie, and I don't like that condescending tone of voice they take when they speak to you. Other than that...I can't say that they're worse off than Johnny G. I can only wonder what awaits Gaia... eek

Just read Philippa Gregory's "The Other Boleyn Girl"...amayzing book!!
I've always been fascinated by Ann Boleyn, and though this particular novel paints a less than flattering picture of her, I must say that the author deserves praise for her portrayal of the bitter sibling rivalry between Ann and Mary Boleyn...the love-hate, pride-jealousy relationship between the two sisters. My own relationship with my sister isn't that poisonous but sometimes, through the course of the book, I could relate.
A must, must read!! biggrin
