I have always wanted to be in a maid cafe. And somewhat recently, actually about a year, I've thought of creating a type of one at like a booth or something at an anime convention. That's about all the details I'll speak of, but Japanese snacks... other than Pocky... would come into play.
I've been drawing up some costume ideas and originally I thought of presenting a "Mahoromatic" style of dress, one that's long and conservative.
But then I noticed that it would not really appeal as well as a short one. So, I messed around with a short, Goth-lolli fashion style, and came up with a cuuuute idea:
Half maid, half butler. The top would consist of a dark vest (heart buttons) and a white, long ,ruffled, collared shirt. While the bottom would have a lovely, puffy goth-lolli skirt with a lacy apron. There would be a unrealistically large bow on the back of the outfit, attached around the waist with the aid of a cummerbund.
Colors are undecided, I'll scan the pic on my computer and see what works the best. Probably just basic black and white, with maybe some pink/red thrown in.
