I decided to check out the coon tail I was selling today and saw a nice 800g bid with a link to accept the bid. Since it's my first time using the Marketplace, I thought that I'm suppose to click it. I clicked it and got a higher bid and clicked on confirm sale. Well, the money got added to my amount and I thought "Oh! Just don't spend it until the auction's over". I went back to add the balloon and Gambino sign when I discovered that my coon tail auction was GONE! eek It suddenly dawned on me that clicking on "accept bid" will end the auction early with that bid. sweatdrop
Moral of the story: "Accept bid" will cause the auction to end early, so leave the link along if you choose. gonk
Next time I see something that I want on an online auction (Marketplace, eBay, etc.), I'm gonna need parential assistance. redface
