Mari Shade's ((xDeaths_Puppetx)) place to write random stuff
Ok, I think this is kind of pointless but anyway, here we go. Most of my journals consist of me talking to myself and short stories I write so guess what? That's also what this journal is going to be used for, ... plus information about me leaving or
Chapter 8

I took a calming breath and slowly turned around to face the one creature in the entire universe I'd really rather not see. Death was leaning against the wall to my right with his arms folded across his chest and his hood over his head in a way that made him look very menacing. Knowing my luck, he probably watched me finish off Alusha. I stood very still and glared at him, daring him to say something that would give me a reason to throw Kest at him.
"That was not the best way to show the rest of the Underworld that you are fit to be out of isolation, Abyss." He said darkly. I smirked and stared walking slowly toward him.
"Yeah? You really think so? Because I would expect that the entire population would have forgotten me since you replaced me with that whore." I challenged him.
"You know nothing of the situation Abyss, and I am in no mood to deal with your attitude. If you would stay quiet for a moment I might give you the courtesy of knowing why I made the decisions I did."((apologies if I didn't phrase that correctly!)) He pushed himself off the wall and his empty eye sockets seemed to be glaring at me.
"Save it, Death, I'm sure nothing you have to say is worth hearing." I tapped Kest 3 times letting him know that I wanted him to down size. He was safer on the chain around my neck, where I couldn't throw him at Death. I walked past him without him making any move to stop me; after a couple of seconds with out him saying anything I assumed he would just let me leave. Before I could let out a breath of relief he grabbed my wrist and flung me around so my back was against the cold, unforgiving wall and Death was towering over me. I screamed and allowed black magic to flow through my hands as I tried to reach for his neck.He was holding my wrists above my head before I could blink. I made another vain attempt to grab his hands which got me nowhere.
"Are you finished?" he asked after I stopped struggling.
"Not quite" I admitted. He waited as I slowed my heart beat down and decided that I might regreat it if I destroyed the Grim Reaper.
"Now?" he asked calmly, almost playfully. I hesitated, then nodded my head. Instead of releasing me, he stepped in closer, pressing his body to mine, and started gently rubbing his jaw bone against the side of my head.
"candles, sexy underwear, black rose petals, feather pillows, a nice cozy bed, ... well, you don't have to have a bed. Of course, it would make you more comfortable." I surpressed a sigh.
"What are you talking about Kest?" I asked him hesitantly.
"I'm just reminding you of what you'll need tonight. Oh! Soft music would help too, maybe it will keep you from leaving nail marks in his back this time."
"Kest! It is not going to come to that!" I screamed in my head.
"Lier, lier! Pain and fire! Hang your charge from something dire!" Kest laughed. I wanted to punch him in the face.
"I'm guessing you're talking to Kest." Death said with a chuckle. I sighed angrily as he moved from my hair down to my neck. "Just relax." he whispered as he let go of my wrists and slide his hands down to my thighs.
"Don't." I warned. As expected, he ignored me. His hands tensed and hoisted me up on to his hip. I pressed against his ribs and his hands left my thighs and pressed against my back to keep me close.
"Don't!" I repeated.
"I can't believe you are taking Alusha seriously." he said almost angirly. "I would have thought you could have seen through her lies easily." I didn't answer, was Alusha really lieing; or was Death keeping something from me?
"Abyss! Do you seriously think I would lie to you? Remember who you are talking to. You can see my thoughts just as I can see yours. How could I lie to you?" I stayed tense for a long moment then finally gave in. It took to much work to refuse Death, besides, I really missed him holding me. I let my arms relax and wrapped them around his neck. The way he held me to his chest and baried his head in my hair and neck felt almost like he was engulfing me. I rested my head along his shoulder blade and let him carry me from that awful room filled with lies and hate and lust.
