! I beat Legend of Zelda: the Wind Waker about five minutes ago. This comes as quite a surprise to me as I usually really suck at video games. But this is a very nice franchise and I'm glad my first video game victory on major console was on a Legend of Zelda game. (At the end, I like to think that Link grew tired of sailing the seas and became a pirate...or does he go off with Tetra and form a new land? The end confused me a bit.) Independence Day. I hate the park celebration. Independence Day has this certain aura of blech. I think it is from last year's celebration with the family next door to my sister's father and an annoying drunk woman. That might be part of it. But all the flags all the. I'm not anti-American or anything like that I mean it's my country and, even though it really could be doing better in a lot of areas, it's OK but all the patriotism to the high degree is so stupid and the park festival sucks.
