Today was a great day. I didn’t go to school; I spent it with my mom. We drove a whole 2 hours to the closest town. It not only had stoplights, but a mall to match. We took our new white truck, window rolled down singing out loud to Little White Church.
We stopped at Barns and Noble. She bought me books, I bought her Starbucks coffee. We visited an old antique store and a western apparel store. She cooked steak and mashed potatoes outside on the fire when we got home and my whole family ate under the stars. I’m glad I didn’t go to school today, don’t tell Mathu. :]
